Beef Improvement Ontario (BIO) is an industry operated organization dedicated to providing genetic and management information services to the beef industry – from the packer to the breeder. It is operated by a Board of Directors representing a broad cross-section of the industry. This structure ensures that industry stakeholders are directly involved in providing leadership and direction – two critical factors if BIO is to enhance the competitive position of its customers.

BIO is committed to a strong national beef improvement structure. A strong relationship with its national partners broadens the market opportunities for BIO’s customers – helping them compete in a global marketplace with their world-class beef and beef genetics.
